Well Potty Training is now actually working. The boys had to go to day-care yesterday since I had an eye-doctor appointment. They wore diapers all day. Well after supper, I took off all their clothes and told them to go use the potty while I finished cleaning. I didn't think they would actually use it, as they never have before. I just needed to sweep w/out them trying to help. Well Braeden kept whining and I couldn't figure out why. So I walk in there and he had POOPED in the potty! I was in shock..TOTAL SHOCK. He also tried to T-T in the potty, but kinda missed, but some did make it in. I was soooo excited that he got the poop INSIDE the potty. I was in total shock. I'll spare pictures of him w/ his poop, but here is him sitting on the potty after his bath. Brennen was waiting his turn nicely on the big potty.
After I took these pictures Brennen decided it was time to put on a diaper and play. So Brennen and I go to their room to put a diaper on. Braeden wanted to stay on the potty, so I thought nothing about it. He closed the door, still didn't think anything, then I went to open the door and it was LOCKED! Beau is gone and I immediately freaked. I called him and he told me to unscrew the door handle, which I did, but it still didn't open. So while he was on his way home and I called my mom. She told me to look for a latch. There is this silver thing that you have to push over for it to open. AND IT IS VERY HARD TO PUSH. OMG! I now know how to break into a locked door. GO ME! Braeden did good the whole time. He kept trying to hand me the other side of the door handle, it was too cute. Brennen was right beside me saying Uh Oh, Uh Oh, Uh Oh. He was trying to be such a little helper! After I got everything off, Brennen kept trying to go into the bathroom and close the door and Braeden would go near it. I guess it looked like fun for Brennen. So needless to say I think potty training is going to surprise me every day.

Our Options...
So with only 7 1/2 days left until Beau finds out if he got F-15E's (NC) or B-1 Bombers (TX) I thought I would let everyone see the difference! Some of this stuff is muble jumble to me, but I thought it was neet seeing the difference.
The F-15 Eagle
Beau's Office:
A little about the F-15. Beau will be the back-seat WSO Although the slogan of the F-15's original design team was "Not a pound for air-to-ground," the F-15 has long been recognized as having superior potential in the ground attack role. In 1987 this potential was realized in the form of the F-15E Strike Eagle. The mission of the Strike Eagle is as succinct as that of its air-to-air cousin: to put bombs on target. The F-15E is especially configured for the deep strike mission, venturing far behind enemy lines to attack high value targets with a variety of munitions. The Strike Eagle accomplishes this mission by expanding on the capabilities of the air superiority F-15, adding a rear seat WSO (Weapon Systems Operator) crewmember and incorporating an entirely new suite of air-to-ground avionics.

B-1 Bombers
Beau will be on OSO or DSO in the B-1. The aircraft is operated by four crew: pilot, co-pilot, defensive systems operator (DSO) and offensive systems operator (OSO).
Beau's Office:
The DSO station is equipped with the interface for AIL Systems, Inc's ALQ-161 defensive avionics system and a Honeywell multifunction display linked to the aircraft's offensive avionics system (OAS). The OSO station is equipped with two Honeywell multifunction displays linked to the OAS.
Rockwell Collins received a contract in February 2004 to upgrade the displays to 5in×7in colour multifunction displays using active matrix liquid crystal (AMLCD) technology.

PS Be sure to go vote on the right side of what plane he will get! March 6th here we come

Seriously...
Ok what have I gotten myself into. That is what I'm thinking during this video, between my laughing of course! So potty training took on a WHOLE new level last night. I decided to try to get a little potty. They are just tooo scared of the big one so I thought, why not just try. First of I should have gotten 2 because they fought over who got to sit on it and have it sing to them. Once they acutally pee in it I think I will get another. Then I finally got them off the potty and into the bath. AND this is what I witness.
DISCLAIMER: This potty has never been used, it's brand spankin new! AND I have cleaned this bathroom every day since we started. EWWWW Potty traning is just nasty! THE END!

Happpy 2nd Birthday
Well Braeden & Brennen are officially 2!!! Can you believe it? We had a day all about the boys today. I decorated the house and their door so as soon as they walked out they knew something was different & fun. We ate strawberry muffins for breakfast and macaroni and cheese w/ meat for supper...2 of their FAVORITES! They loved the cake. I was a little disappointed with it this year. I spend all day yesterday working on it and it just didn't turn out the way I would like. It's hard to out-do last years caterpillar. Oh well, we still ate it and had a fun day! Thanks for all the calls..It made the day extra special!

Big Boy Undies
Ok, so the boys got some big-boy undies. They were too cute. Can I just say that it was a heart-breaker to see my babies without a diaper. I wanted to cry. The good thing...They are back in diapers. They have NO interest what so ever in using the potty. I really didn't think it would work, but they seem to keep their diapers on now that they know the alternative. Oh well. I have read soo many things and they say the WORST time to try to train is between 24-30 months. Sooo It looks like we will be holding off another 6 months at least. Oh well, here are my babies in big boy undies.

I can breath again...
Our solution to all these toys. I am really weird about everything needing to have a place and be together and so for the past 3 months I have been going NUTS in this house. I felt toys were EVERYWHERE and it was making me in a really bad mood. So, I broke down and spent $100 and know I can breath again. I think it was the best $100 I have ever spent. Toys are separated, the boys can find them. Can I just say toy boxes suck. I hated it. The boys couldn't find anything in it and it was just a hodge podge of a mess. So, 100 bucks and now I'm happy, the boys are happy and well the Henry household just looks prettier w/out all the toys in the living room.

March 6th
Yup, March 6th, 22 days from now....Is selection day for us. WOOHOO...22 days and we will know if we get B-1's (Abilene, TX) or F-15's (Goldsboro, NC). We will be ok with either, but really want to come home to Texas...Keep your fingers crossed!
Playing
I have been busy moving boxes to the garage to make room for their playroom. While I was carrying boxes out this is what they were doing. They hate clothes...If you couldn't already tell. They want to be naked all the time. They think clothes means bye-bye. HAHA The really thought I should take them for a walk and I wouldn't so they took things into their own hands and Braeden started pushing Brennen. That thing is heavy, I couldn't believe that he could actually move it.
Jump....
The boys can jump sooo high! HAHA We are getting there, I think they get their coordination from their mommy.
Dancing
Beau got a new IHome for Christmas so he was setting it up and the boys thought they had to dance. Everytime he turned up the music they went crazy....They did this for about an hour! It was so funny.

The Mom of the Year Look
Ok, so I know I have posted a lot today...That's what happpens when I don't update stuff for a month. Err...O well. I just had to write about how Brennen got me the Mom of the Year look. The boys and I went to the grocery store yesterday by ourselves. This is an adventure within itself, most of the time by the end I'm worn out, the boys are grouchy and we just need to get out of the store. So I'm in the meat department and both the boys are sitting in the front of the cart (VERY CLOSE TOGETHER=BAD IDEA)...We had already navigated away from the car part and well I needed them contained. Sooo...Braeden had been playing w/ some McCormick spice that I got and all of a sudden Brennen decided he needed it. That is the way Brennen works..He wants something and he takes it. Sometimes Braeden is whatever and sometimes he gets mad. Well he got mad this time. So I'm sitting in the meat department and all of a sudden Braeden tries to grab it back and Brennen goes balistic...He starts hitting Braeden over the head with the spice and they are both screaming at the top of their lungs...So this lady walks by and she just gives that terrified look like oh my gosh I can't believe her she is the worst mother ever. Yup I got it...Good thing she didn't say anything or I might have gone nuts...I decided that anything else on the list could wait and we were outta there. Sooo I received my 1st look...That I actually noticed. So, please vote me the mother of the year this year!! =]
Our Alternative to Potty Training so Young...
Duct Tape. Beau said last night..."If you have to carry duct tape in your diaper bag...You might be a redneck." HAHA I don't want to teach them that they HAVE to have on a diaper, hence the potty training. But I also don't believe that they are mentally ready for the potty. We are going to take it slow, wearing undies during that day and see where we go...Who knows they might surprise me..They always do.
Birthday Month
Well it's Birthday Month in the Henry household, hence the background. Beau's is the 12th and the boys is the 22nd. We're not sure what to get the boys for their 2nd birthday, so vote today so they can get something cool.
Potty Training
Well against my will, my babies are growing up. They have decided that they no longer want to wear diapers. They take them off all the time and have decided to pee everywhere. I'm tired of cleaning pee and I'm going to have to anyways, so we went to the store today and got "big boy" undies, a stool and a chair. They are not getting it AT ALL. They love that they can throw fish in the potty, and play in the bathroom, but they are just not getting it. Is it too early?? I don't know, but they refuse to wear diapers so why not just keep giving it a try???? I'm going to stay calm, very very calm. HAHA If you are looking into buying stocks I would go with Goldfish and tide. We are going to the potty every 15 minutes and haven't had a success yet. Just lots of fish down the potty.
Moving Over
Ok, so I'm going to move all my stuff from Baby Jelly Beans over. I will have pictures, videos and a blog about the boys on here. My new camera will not upload to Baby Jelly Beans, so we are ending our membership in a couple months. We will give this a few months and see how it goes.
